The Love of Art: Nikki Maloof ♡ Domenico Gnoli

Épisode de L'Amour de l'Art (The Love of Art) - Perrotin par L'Amour de l'Art (The Love of Art) - Perrotin · 17 janvier 2025 · 12 min

Nikki Maloof's paintings depict the world hidden within the mind. Imagined interiors and animals become proxies for the human experience. Her subjects often convey existential loneliness, but are buoyed by humor, capricious painting, and the use of a saturated palette.

In this episode, she talks about Italian painter and stage designer Domenico Gnoli.

In The Love of Art podcast, artists are invited to speak about other artists that fascinate them (musicians, writers, filmmakers, actors, designers…) in a very personal way.
