[Bonus] ADVOCACY FOR INVESTING IN AFRICAN RESEARCH

Épisode de One Planet Voices par Agropolis Fondation (Fondation One Science Montpellier) · 15 janvier 2025 · 20 min

This episode is a passionate call for strong and independent African research in the face of the climate emergency, delivered by the laureates of the One Planet Fellowship program.

Through their heartfelt voices, discover the harsh reality of the limited resources available to African research to combat climate change—a crisis that disproportionately impacts Africa, one of the continents least responsible for greenhouse gas emissions yet most affected by their devastating consequences.

These young researchers courageously appeal to African and international decision-makers to invest in research, enabling Africa to lead with its own solutions, rooted in local practices and promising scientific advancements.

Because a sustainable future depends on collective action, listen to and share this call to transform science into hope and tangible impact!
