"Je suis content d'avoir terminé mon projet." "Merci de m'avoir aidé." "Après être rentrée, elle a pris une douche." In this episode, you'll practice the French past infinitive (l'infinitif passé) through 16 everyday situations: being happy, sorry, relieved, or disappointed about something that already happened.

How it works: you hear a short situation, then the sentence to repeat, then a quick reminder of the verb form. Repeat out loud during the pauses to practice your pronunciation, rhythm, and fluency.

What you'll practice:

The past infinitive with avoir (avoir terminé, avoir raté, avoir oublié...)

The past infinitive with être (être arrivé, être allé, être parti...), including agreement (elle est triste de ne pas être venue)

Useful structures: adjective + de (content de, déçu de, soulagé de, désolé de), après + past infinitive, je pense avoir + past participle

The negative form: ne pas avoir reçu, ne pas être venu

Level: A2-B2. Perfect for shadowing practice.
