Épisode de CERI par CERI · 14 octobre 2026 · 57 min

Hybrid event of 14/10/2026 organised as part of the "Environment and International Relations" seminar.

Speaker:

Niklas Wagner, German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS)

Discussant:

Margot Duluk, Policy Analyst at the OECD, Climate Change Expert Group (CCXG)

While the Global Stocktake (GST) is central to the Paris Agreement’s ambition mechanism, its role in adaptation remains largely unexplored. Drawing on interviews, event ethnography and document analysis, this paper examines how adaptation was constructed in GST-1 and why this has translated into limited national uptake.
