S8#3 🇺🇸🇬🇧 SPOT “How Do We Look? France’s National Architecture Days 2026”

Épisode de Com d'Archi par DEPONDT Anne-Charlotte · 13 octobre 2026 · 14 min

What do we see when we walk past a building? A facade, an era, a material? And what do we know about life inside, what deserves to be preserved, and what could evolve?

Ahead of France’s National Architecture Days, taking place October 15–18, 2026, Anne-Charlotte Depondt explores how we look at architecture and heritage, through the theme of this 11th edition: “Rehabilitate: Building the Future.”

In this SPOT episode, she shares her reflections on working with what already exists, passing on modern architectural heritage, and architects’ responsibility in the face of climate change. She also suggests places to visit, from bioclimatic homes and restored heritage buildings to Villa Savoye, as well as a lecture by Francis Soler at the French Ministry of Culture.

An invitation to step inside buildings and architecture studios, listen, and take the time to look.
