Épisode de geneveMonde.ch par David Glaser · 26 mars 2025 · 29 min

What if protecting animals were the key to building a more peaceful world? In this first episode, journalist David Glaser and historian Véronique Stenger explore the history of international efforts to defend animal rights, particularly during the era of the League of Nations.

From the early mobilizations against animal cruelty to the first international charters on animal rights, including arguments for "moral disarmament," discover how the protection of animals became intertwined with the pursuit of world peace.

Through compelling narratives and remarkable archival materials, this episode takes us on a fascinating journey at the intersection of ethics, politics, and international cooperation, where a powerful belief emerges: protecting animals means working toward a more peaceful world.
